Wednesday 8 March 2023 Getting Messy in The Nest Sensory play is very important for the children in the Nest and we engage in lots of activities which stimulate our senses. Our favourite type of sensory play in the Nest is the Messy kind! We spend lots of time playing with gelli baff, foam, gloop, rice, spaghetti, cereal and anything else that we think the children will have fun exploring.

Wednesday 5 October 2022 The Nest Go To Forest School The Nest children loved their first trip to Forest School! We met Mr McDonald in the garden and he showed the children around the digging area, pond and orchard. They enjoyed exploring and finding interesting natural objects like leaves, sticks and even some fruit which had fallen from one of the trees! Mr McDonald also hid some animal toys around the garden and the children went on a hunt to find them. They had a big surprise when they found a real animal… a frog!

Wednesday 5 October 2022 Settling into The Nest The children have had a wonderful first few weeks in the Nest! They have enjoyed exploring the environment and have engaged in lots of exciting play activities. Our favourite activities are the messy ones! Some of the children have also been getting to know each other and we have seen some lovely friendships starting to grow.
